"Self Portrait"

The artist on too much caffeine? This is an experimental shot done with a Kodak C513
and processed with KodakGallery and Picasa.
It was taken through a store window and reflected from a mirror within "A Frame Above", in Jackson, Michigan.

I really like the colors. Like Sun King and Blue View, I like this effect. Is this your first post with your new camera?

You`ve got some beautiful pictures on your blog. :)

Yes, Blue, it was newly out of the box, but the first shot I took was of my phone, which I entitled "Communication" and put on
http://imperfectnerd.blogspot.com
with a little tribute to Alexander Graham Bell. The second shot was of my precious friend and companion Smokey, who now resides near the head of that blog. I am just getting started! And thank you, Ida, for stopping by and the nice comment! I aim to please the eye, not startle the senses, so I'm glad you liked the site!

I'm sure this doesn't do you justice! Great photo, though!

On the contrary, it was the only way to make me look halfway decent, Angie! Take a look at my profile picture if you don't believe me. On second thought, PLEASE don't look at my profile picture, and whatever you do, don't click on it, because it may explode!

Ake, you have such a surprising site, butterflies and MUSIC! If I weren't so busy being cantankerous maybe I could do as good a job of entertaining my visitors as you do!

When you return, please tell a few friends. We love visitors around here, but we are so new people don't realize we exist!

I thought I had commented on this! I keep returning to it because I really really like it. A lot. Not just the colors; but the way the image is in back there, clear yet hidden.

Andree, if I were not hidden in some fashion, the mirror would have shattered from the shock!
